Election Day has come and gone. Across the country yesterday, Americans cast their votes for offices from President of the United States to dog catcher. Here in Pennsylvania, all 203 seats in  the House of Representatives were up for grabs, as were  half of our 50 Pennsylvania Senate seats (the odd numbered districts), all three row offices, 15 of 18 congressional seats and one of our two U.S. Senate seats. Here’s how it all shook out.

New Members:  Pennsylvania Senate and House of Representatives

Constitutional Query: Judicial Retirement Age

It’s no easy feat to amend the Pennsylvania Constitution; the proposal has to pass the General Assembly twice and then be put to the electorate for ratification. Yesterday, voters in the Keystone State were asked whether or not the mandatory age of retirement for our judges and justices should be raised from 70 to 75. The question passed by a vote of 50.88 percent to 49.12 percent.
